Teaching fertility awareness is a unique and rewarding vocation. A fertility awareness educator mentors, encourages and supports clients through the entire spectrum of reproductive life.
If you dream of sharing the gift of body literacy with others, and you are passionate about reproductive physiology and hormone health, you might consider pursuing a career in FAM education.
While it’s typical to feel swept away by the magic of FAM and want to share it with others right away, I always recommend having a basis in personal charting experience with a certified educator before pursuing formal training.
I’ve created these programs for you, whether you’re thinking of becoming a FAM educator or already have taken a teacher training.

My Experience
I’ve been using fertility awareness since 2016, and teaching since 2018.
I’m certified through FEMM and Billings.
My academic background is in social work, and I strive to create non-judgmental, empowering spaces for my clients and meet them where they’re at.
Stemming from personal experience, I have a particular interest in charting through irregular cycles and using FAM to avoid pregnancy.
My Philosophy
Fertility awareness education is a specialized field that requires knowledgable instructors.
Fertility awareness educators are passionate about body literacy and carry the skills to help clients make informed decisions about their fertility, contraception and health.
Teaching fertility awareness is not something to be taken on lightly. FAM educators carry a degree of responsibility to be competent for their clients.
Taking a certification program is valuable, and helps you gain the knowledge, mentorship and experience to teach fertility awareness. However, there are pros and cons with each teacher training and method. Knowing the evidence based reasons behind methods and protocols makes you a better educator.
It’s possible to run a business that is nourishing to you, your community and the world.
